Thanks for all of your love and support! I really appreciate it:)
Today in personal study, I drew a picture of the gospel of Jesus Christ as represented by the analogy of a gate and baptism. This week I finished memorizing 2 Nephi 31 in Spanish, and it's become a great asset. Basically, once you know what it says, you realize that it applies to everyone. I'm going to send a picture with it of what I drew. Please, just take it with a grain of salt. I'm an aspiring engineer, not an artist. Anyway, baptism is how we enter the path. At baptism we receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. As we endure to the end, we find ourselves in the temple. But the most important thing to know is that we MUST have faith in order to repent in order to be baptized in order to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost in order to endure to the end in order to receive eternal life. Eternal life is life with God and our families in a fullness of joy. Basically what are you all waiting for?? Get to building your faith and living the gospel of Jesus Christ! And key to maintaining our faith in Jesus Christ are sincere prayer, meaningful scripture study, consistent church attendance, willing service, and worthy temple attendance. That, my friends, is the high five!(say it with a southern accent. It's Sister Marriott's idea.)
Stories!
We showed up for Angel's lesson on Friday and he had definitely been drinking recently. I'm not familiar with the symptoms of heavy drinking, but I think he was hung over. We taught the word of wisdom, but I am 100% sure he doesn't remember a thing. :P
Same day, we went to share 1 Nephi 3:7 with Ricardo in a quick 5 minute visit, and he told us he had smoked weed and not read. It turned into 1 million excuses and 0 commitments. He made us miss curfew. ... But to make it worth everyone's time, I'll add that he tried to explain who knows what to us by starting with, "It's like how you know how drunks have this moment of clarity?" *blank stares* "What? You've never been drunk before?" "No..." And he went on to explain that it doesn't even happen every time. Ha! But it gets better.
When we got back to where we had parked our car at 9:27, it had been towed. Rough... 13 hours and $223 later we got the thing back, but still... I feel bad for the security guard. What a rough job he must have ruining our already really tough day all over again.
But! There's still a lot going on here in El Camino. Luisa is going to be baptized on the 6th. We taught her everything in 5 visits. She's technically a convert, but she's turning 8 this week, and her grandma has been taking her to church for a long time.
Love you! Thanks for everything!

Zone Conference! And getting a ride to the tow yard!
